George Oelschlaeger has been named 2015 Member of the Year by the Quad-City Section of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. Oelschlaeger has been a 50-year ASABE member starting with his graduation with a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Missouri in 1965. He has been an active member of the Quad-City Section serving as its 1977-1978... Oelschlaeger's career with Deere & Co. has included both product design of disk harrows and moldboard plows and manufacturing engineering assignments where he helped develop an assembly line for building and shipment of complete planters and a new...
